Air Products to Showcase Technology and Solutions for Industrial Gas Projects at FIA 2022 in Algiers

Air Products, a global leader in industrial gas and a global leader in liquefied natural gas (LNG) technology and equipment, will showcase its industrial gas technologies and solutions for a wide range of industrial processes at the Algiers International Trade Fair (FIA 2022) from June 13 to 17 at the Palais des Expositions des Pins Maritimes, Algiers, Algeria.

Attendees are invited to stop by the Air Products booth, #A16 in the US pavilion, to speak with an expert and learn more about the industrial gas solutions and technologies the company offers to a wide range of industries. , including refining, petrochemicals, metals, electronics, food and medical.

Air Products’ projects in Algeria range from helium recovery, engineering and construction of air separation units for industrial and medical gases, to the supply of technologies and processing equipment to Sonatrach for the production of LNG, to the supply of commercial industrial gases by SIDAL, a joint venture Air Products and Sonatrach and a subsidiary of Helios.

In addition to representatives from Air Products, experts from Rotoflow, an Air Products business that combines one of the industry’s most trusted names in turbomachinery with global industrial gas expertise, will also be on the booth to showcase its global customer support with after-sales services and new equipment solutions. In addition to showcasing technologies and solutions at the booth, Dr. Hakim Benkrid, Managing Director, and Major Projects Development, Africa at Air Products, will participate in the “Hydrogen in Energy Transition” roundtable. Air Products has been operating in Algeria since 1977 and has built a strong base in the country. The company’s proprietary process technology and major cryogenic heat exchangers are in operation at Sonatrach’s LNG facilities in Skikda and Arzew, the two facilities accounting for a significant portion of Algeria’s LNG exports. In addition, the Helios joint venture has been producing helium for the European market for over 25 years.
