Apple announces the death of the iPod

“The spirit of the iPod lives on”

Conscious of turning an important page, Apple returns to the judgment of the precursor of the iPhone in a press release: “Music has always been central to Apple, and making it accessible to hundreds of millions of users as did the iPod not only impacted the music industry, but also redefined the way music is discovered, heard and shared (…) The spirit of the iPod lives on,” says Greg Joswiak, Vice -president of international marketing for the Cupertino company.

As a reminder, the cessation of production of the device does not mean that its stocks are unavailable, but limited. The American giant clarified that its iPod Touch “will be available while supplies last”.
