Errol Musk, 73, has publicly revealed that he had a second child with his own stepdaughter, Jana Bezuidenhout.
Some will say like father, like son. While Elon Musk admitted on Wednesday July 6 to being the father of twins he had with Shivon Zilis, six months ago, it was his father’s turn to make revelations. On Wednesday July 13, Errol Musk, 76, announced in an interview for The Sun that he had an “unplanned” second child with Jana Bezuidehnout, his stepdaughter.
The baby girl was born 3 years ago, a year after Errol Musk revealed the birth of their first child, Eliott Rush. “She was not planned”, declares the father of the billionaire about this new birth. “But I mean, we lived together. She (Jana, editor’s note) stayed here for about 18 months after Rushi’s birth.

From mother to daughter
Errol Musk’s announcement of his daughter-in-law’s pregnancy sent a bombshell through the family. He explains to the British media that his daughters were shocked by his relationship with Jana: “And they still don’t like it. They always feel a bit scared by it, because it’s their sister. Their half-sister. After his divorce from Maye Musk, the billionaire’s mother, the patriarch had married Heide Bezuidenhout in 1992, a young widow, originally from South Africa, mother of two children including Jana, 4 years old at the time.
The couple had divorced after 18 years of marriage and two more children. While the former husband of Maye Musk raised Jana throughout this relationship, the young girl became pregnant in 2017, at the age of 30. Errol publicly acknowledges being the father a year later. “The only thing we are on Earth for is to reproduce,” he confides today to The Sun. “If I could have another child, I would. I see no reason not to.” The Musk family tree has not stopped growing.
