Flexgate: justice still decides in favor of Apple!

In the legal series, the flexgate case makes a final comeback today. In May 2020, several customers accused Apple of willfully concealing a display fault affecting certain 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pros (released in 2016 and 2017), a defect that is believed to have become apparent after the warranty period. In practice, the latter appeared in the form of dark spots crossing the bottom of the screen with a certain resemblance to the light installations on the stages of the theater -the stage lights. In April 2021 and then in July 2021, a judge had already rejected the requests and ruled on part of the question, finding that the Californian firm was well aware of the defect, but offenses of deceptive marketing practices and fraudulent concealment seemed disproportionate. This time, it’s final, the judge having -one last time- ruled in favor of Apple.
